Batman v Superman: Powered by BatTech... Meet Armored Batman!

Bruce Wayne may hone his skills, body, and mind to become the perfect weapon and crimefighter as Batman, but even The Dark Knight needs more tricks up his sleeve to work with when facing against powerful beings... ESPECIALLY a certain "Last Son of Krypton" and alien who happens to have God-Like powers at his disposal thanks to the Earth's yellow sun.

The solution? Secretly using his unlimited resources and tech from Wayne Enterprises and other subsidiaries to develop an arsenal of gadgets and weapons, mostly non-lethal and augmenting his strength tenfold. In Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, we get a taste of that first hand with the debut of the "Armored Batman" Batsuit - which protects Wayne and supplies him with enough protection and firepower to take on Superman anytime, anyplace!

As another Batsuit appearing in the film worn by Ben Affleck, the Armored Batsuit is inspired and patterned after the same armor exoskeleton that an aged Bruce Wayne uses in Frank Miller's seminal 1986 graphic novel classic "The Dark Knight Returns". In the final chapter of that four-part miniseries, Batman confronts Superman in an epic showdown with Gotham City as their arena, and the gloves are off for both combatants as both fight to see "the best man win".

Batman v Superman: Get to know Ben Affleck... The New Batman!

Hardened and more experienced that previous versions seen in past Batman films, "Batfleck" will challenge Superman following the destructive events that happened to the world and Metropolis as seen in Man of Steel, fearing that the Kryptonian's power will do more harm for mankind than good. As a result it's a battle between two very different kinds of hero with the entire world watching, not knowing that another force of evil is rising behind the scenes.
