Justice PH celebrates "DC Comics Super Hero World Record" Guinness World Records Award!

Greetings Justice PH fans! Batman PH here, and it's been a while since we've updated on this blog, but many of us have been out saving the world and doing our respective duties as heroes (and you can follow our exploits on our Facebook page here)! This time though, we wanted to acknowledge something related to a MILESTONE EVENT that happened a few months back... And it was celebrated worldwide to boot!

Last April, the members of Justice PH were honored to join a gathering of DC Comics fans who were dressed as their favorite DC Comics Super Heroes at SM North EDSA's The Block, as the official "DC Comics Super Hero World Record" event happened there and joined more than a dozen other countries around the world in setting a record for "the most number of DC Super Heroes" gathered together.

That being said, we are pleased to share this OFFICIAL CERTIFICATE from the Guinness World Records... Which acknowledges The Philippines' participation in the "DC Comics Super Hero World Record" event! With the count reaching 198 and shared by our friends from Pacific Licensing who organized the event last April, we are honored to have joined the rest of the venues around the world in reaching this number as the only SouthEast Asian country that participated!

Justice PH Recap: World of DC Comics Super Hero World Record

Last weekend, The World's Greatest Fans of DC Comics gathered together to help set a World Record that would count the most number of people dressed as their favorite DC Super Heroes... And one of the participating countries was our very own Philippines!

So here we go with the Recap: The World of DC Comics Super Hero World Record Philippines event!

In what is surely the most EPIC gathering of DC Comics fans ever in one place, Justice PH joined forces with Pacific Licensing, Creatif, SM City North EDSA, SM Supermalls, and the rest of the sponsors and organizers of the World of DC Comics Philippines celebration to bring together the "DC Comics Super Hero World Record" event! Together with more than 10 countries in the world, the Philippines - the ONLY Southeast Asian country participating in the celebration, was ready and on hand to be among thousands trying to break the world record, and it all went down on April 18, Saturday, at The Block, Atrium area of SM City North EDSA!

With hundreds of people joining, kids and adults from all walks of life converged to be part of the DC World Record! There were cosplayers dressed as fan-favorites like Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, and Green Lantern, while others went for the more interesting choices like Booster Gold, Cyborg, and even Hawkgirl! The Teen Titans were also in attendance... And even characters from the graphic novel Watchmen and Sgt. Rock! All gathered to take part for the official World Record count, and later on see the finalists of the DC Super Hero Cosplay Competition showcase their talent and costumes for an epic final contest that saw three winners emerge!

As a result of the celebration, lots of news coverage filled in and were featured on sites like EuroNews, Comic Book.com, and Press and Journal UK!

Justice PH: The Blog Returns - Year 5 and Prepare for the "World of DC Comics" Mega Event on April!

It's been a LONG TIME coming, but FINALLY our official blog page is back and running to give you updates on our events and adventures! Our activities are usually posted in our Facebook page, but we felt that we should come back with the writings to inform each and everyone of you of that we haven't forgotten about this page. In fact, our team just celebrated its 5TH ANNIVERSARY at TAGCOM 2015 this past weekend as of this writing, and we certainly have a LOT OF BIG THINGS in store for this summer of 2015!

Let's start things off by showing off this EPIC EVENT POSTER.

Yes ladies and gentlemen... On April 17, 18, and 19, the "World of DC Comics" will be celebrated in The Philippines, and EVERYONE is invited to join and participate in two SUPER EVENTS happening on April 18 that will require all the passion, intensity, and heroism that a fan can muster inside themselves!

The first event happening on that day will be the "World of DC Comics - All Star Fun Run", which encourages those who love fun runs to get their A-Game on and run with the world's greatest heroes! The event starts at 4:00 AM at SM Mall of Asia's By The Bay area! Those who register can choose between race categories going for 3K (P700), 5K (P800), and 10K (P900), and will receive a special limited edition Justice League Race Kit that includes a Singlet of your choice (between Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, and Green Lantern) and a JL drawstring bag!
