GEAR UP! Suicide Squad Girls Teens Wear, Socks, and More Now Available at the SM Store!

Greetings Justice PH readers! Suicide Squad excitement is up in the air and it's just ONE WEEK left until the movie opens in theaters! If you haven't seen our last post, then you should know it's time to SQUAD YOURSELVES and grab some pretty awesome Suicide Squad merchandise at the SM Store... And now we are pleased to report that the Girls Teens Wear shirts, Socks, and even more Boys Teens Wear shirts are NOW AVAILABLE at the majority of SM Branches nationwide!

Starting things off with the Girls Teens Wear section, there's unique designs for the ladies and gals who want to dress up and represent the Squad in unique fashion! There's the skull logo designs featuring the entire group as well as solo ones of The Joker and Harley Quinn, and there's this pretty crazy shirt with all the different icons and symbols from the movie that comes in three different colors. Justice PH Recap: World of DC Comics Super Hero World Record

Last weekend, The World's Greatest Fans of DC Comics gathered together to help set a World Record that would count the most number of people dressed as their favorite DC Super Heroes... And one of the participating countries was our very own Philippines!

So here we go with the Recap: The World of DC Comics Super Hero World Record Philippines event!

In what is surely the most EPIC gathering of DC Comics fans ever in one place, Justice PH joined forces with Pacific Licensing, Creatif, SM City North EDSA, SM Supermalls, and the rest of the sponsors and organizers of the World of DC Comics Philippines celebration to bring together the "DC Comics Super Hero World Record" event! Together with more than 10 countries in the world, the Philippines - the ONLY Southeast Asian country participating in the celebration, was ready and on hand to be among thousands trying to break the world record, and it all went down on April 18, Saturday, at The Block, Atrium area of SM City North EDSA!

With hundreds of people joining, kids and adults from all walks of life converged to be part of the DC World Record! There were cosplayers dressed as fan-favorites like Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, and Green Lantern, while others went for the more interesting choices like Booster Gold, Cyborg, and even Hawkgirl! The Teen Titans were also in attendance... And even characters from the graphic novel Watchmen and Sgt. Rock! All gathered to take part for the official World Record count, and later on see the finalists of the DC Super Hero Cosplay Competition showcase their talent and costumes for an epic final contest that saw three winners emerge!

And that's it! History made and the very first DC World Record celebration in the Philippines! Justice PH and DC fans and cosplayers were there, and everyone was honored to attend!

Justice PH attends the "Justice League: Heroes United at SM" Press Event!

Welcome back to the Justice PH Blog, and what a year 2014 will be indeed!

It's going to be a big year for fans of DC Comics and the Justice League, as Pacific Licensing Studio teams up with The SM Store to bring a new wave of accessories and merchandise based on "The New 52" versions of the world's greatest superheroes with the new storewide program called "Justice League: Heroes United At SM"!

Invited to the press event itself that was held last weekend Sunday, March 30 at the SM MegaTrade Conference Hall at the SM Megamall, representatives of Justice PH included myself Timzster/ Batman, and teammates Glen/ The Flash and Green Lanterns Caz/ John Stewart and Paolo/ Hal Jordan, as well as our young stalwart members of Young Justice Titans PH in the form of Din/ Wonder Girl, Carla/ Black Bat, and Gelo/ Nightwing. The team was invited along with members of the media to witness the launch of the new marketing initiative, which sees several SM stores and branches nationwide offering new products and fixtures based on the recently rebooted "New 52" DC Universe, which features new costumes and character designs for iconic heroes such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, and Cyborg.

In addition to bringing licensed material featuring keyart and designs in the form of shirts and accessories, the "Justice League: Heroes United at SM" initiative aims to distribute other forms of merchandise which includes footwear, bags, apparel, and even housewears. There were a couple of sample products in display as well during the event, showcasing what customers and fans can expect by visiting their nearest SM Store.

In addition to announcing their plans, PLS also teased that plans to celebrate Batman's 75th Anniversary this year were underway. While no official plans could be revealed, the company has stated that "Batman 75" will be celebrated, and that we can look forward to more things very soon.
Also, a Q & A session took place, giving the media and fans clarification on certain concepts that will appear with "Justice League: Heroes United at SM" promotion, as well as hope for other products based on other DC properties to appear as well, including the live-action superhero TV Series "Arrow", and the kid superhero team sensation animated series "Young Justice"!

And of course, the heroes of Justice PH had to pose accordingly with the standees and boards featuring the heroes of the Justice League themselves!
