B'lue/ BvS Super Tap Vendo Challenge: SM Manila Adventure Recap! (March 1 & 2, 2016)

"Are you as Fully Alive as your heroes?" 

Those words inspire confidence, hope, and determination in the minds of those who believe in their icons and symbols, and what better way to promote the coming of one of the biggest superhero movies of all time than to taste something that makes you "Fully Alive"  and have a chance to win prizes at the same time?

That's exactly what B'lue Water Plus did last March 1 and 2 at SM Manila, where they held the "Super Tap Vendo Challenge" game for participants to play, as well as promoting the limited edition design bottles featuring Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman as they'll appear in the upcoming DC Films epic "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice"!

Gathering together a number of people is no easy feat, but featuring some energizing drinks and a game that gives you a chance to win exclusive BvS prizes is just too good to resist! Setting up show near the entrance of SM Manila, the B'lue Water Plus team set up an amazing booth with displays promoting the exclusive Batman v Superman design bottles and the movie itself! In the center of it all lay the Super Tap Vendo Challenge machine, which anyone could join an try their luck with just by purchasing a B'lue Water Plus bottle! Many have tried and several have won, simply by choosing their hero first (either Batman or Superman) and then tapping the screen for the chance to win something related to the movie! Some of the prizes at stake were exclusive BvS designed merchandise - including headphones, speakers, and USBs!

In addition to playing the game, the world's greatest heroes were present to congratulate and take photos with the Super Tap Vendo Challenge participants!

The DC Trinity themselves in Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman were on site to meet and greet fans and challengers alike, as well as promote the coming of BvS this month!

Batman v Superman: Meet the Amazon Warrior Princess herself... Wonder Woman!

Even though "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" focuses on the inevitable clash between the "Son of Krypton" and "Bat of Gotham", the DC Films epic will go on and introduce another key player in the DC Extended Universe that will help unite the forces of good and put them on the road to forming a team consisting of the world's greatest heroes!

That character of course is none other than Diana of Themyscira... Better known to the outside world as the Amazon Warrior Princess called "Wonder Woman"! To be introduced first in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice", the character will be played by Fast and Furious films star and model Gal Gadot, who was cast in the coveted superheroine role on December 2013. Gadot's Wonder Woman is described as being a "5,000 year old Amazon" who is a demigoddess and the daughter of Zeus, who has lived in the world of man and has somewhat retired from superheroics... Until circumstances and the forces of evil sound the call for her presence to be needed again.

Despite her superhero identity being prominent in the film, Gadot's Diana Prince will also be interacting with Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne in the film during a formal party scene. How the alter ego of Batman will flirt with the Amazon Princess is anyone's guess, but she does say in the final trailer of BvS that she isn't "just any other woman" Mr. Wayne has met in the past.

In the second theatrical trailer for BvS, Wonder Woman makes her entrance in style just as Batman and Superman face a new danger in the midst of their own epic clash.

Batman v Superman: Powered by BatTech... Meet Armored Batman!

Bruce Wayne may hone his skills, body, and mind to become the perfect weapon and crimefighter as Batman, but even The Dark Knight needs more tricks up his sleeve to work with when facing against powerful beings... ESPECIALLY a certain "Last Son of Krypton" and alien who happens to have God-Like powers at his disposal thanks to the Earth's yellow sun.

The solution? Secretly using his unlimited resources and tech from Wayne Enterprises and other subsidiaries to develop an arsenal of gadgets and weapons, mostly non-lethal and augmenting his strength tenfold. In Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, we get a taste of that first hand with the debut of the "Armored Batman" Batsuit - which protects Wayne and supplies him with enough protection and firepower to take on Superman anytime, anyplace!

As another Batsuit appearing in the film worn by Ben Affleck, the Armored Batsuit is inspired and patterned after the same armor exoskeleton that an aged Bruce Wayne uses in Frank Miller's seminal 1986 graphic novel classic "The Dark Knight Returns". In the final chapter of that four-part miniseries, Batman confronts Superman in an epic showdown with Gotham City as their arena, and the gloves are off for both combatants as both fight to see "the best man win".

Batman v Superman: The Man of Steel returns... Henry Cavill is Superman!

He's a man of two worlds... The Last Son of Krypton who was raised as a human being and slowly learned that he was not one of us yet learned to be a protector instead. Flying in the skies of Metropolis and wearing his family's crest that stands for "Hope", the being known to the world as Superman uses his powers for good and fights the never ending battle for truth and justice!

Bracing ourselves for a clash between two very different heroes, the last entry here at Justice PH's blog focused on Batman - with Academy Award winning actor and director Ben Affleck signing on to play the part of Bruce Wayne/ Batman. This time we will get to know his opponent - The Man of Tomorrow wearing a Red and Blue superhero costume who first appeared in "Man of Steel".

Reprising his role once more from the 2013 film, British actor Henry Cavill plays Kal-El/ Clark Kent - now a reporter for the Daily Planet who covers stories for the publication that usually involves his alter ego doing great deeds and saving the world. Unfortunately for Superman the world still doesn't fully trust his presence, especially following the immense destruction and collateral damage in Metropolis caused by his battle with General Zod in the previous DC Film. He still holds true to his beliefs that he can be a force of good that can inspire mankind to do great things, but it is a mission that needs a little more convincing, especially in the eyes of a public that has a divided opinion of their superhero savior from a doomed alien planet.

Chief among those who are wary of his presence is Bruce Wayne/ Batman, who secretly takes it upon himself to wage a one-man war against the Kryptonian to prevent him from causing "more harm than good". Playing on his experience and showing that he is a more mature superhero than last time, Cavill takes his Superman game to the next level and will stand headstrong in facing The Dark Knight in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice".

Being the first superhero in DC Comics to inspire later creations and peers like Batman and Wonder Woman, Superman is the quintessential example of a man who holds on to hope and fights the good fight. He has amazing powers that could make him a God, but thanks to a good earthly upbringing he chooses to humble himself and protect mankind.

Batman v Superman: Get to know Ben Affleck... The New Batman!

It's officially four weeks until the release of Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment's epic DC Films' picture with "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice", and the world will be introduced to a brand new Dark Knight. As 2013's Man of Steel introduced us to a brand new Superman, so shall everyone see a new Batman - and the actor chosen to portray the new version of the Caped Crusader for the big screen is none other than Academy Award winning actor/ director/ writer Ben Affleck - who is no stranger to comic books and superheroes and is very much a man burning with passion and determination!

Catch Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice when it opens in theaters on March 26 in The Philippines!

Justice PH celebrates "DC Comics Super Hero World Record" Guinness World Records Award!

Greetings Justice PH fans! Batman PH here, and it's been a while since we've updated on this blog, but many of us have been out saving the world and doing our respective duties as heroes (and you can follow our exploits on our Facebook page here)! This time though, we wanted to acknowledge something related to a MILESTONE EVENT that happened a few months back... And it was celebrated worldwide to boot!

Last April, the members of Justice PH were honored to join a gathering of DC Comics fans who were dressed as their favorite DC Comics Super Heroes at SM North EDSA's The Block, as the official "DC Comics Super Hero World Record" event happened there and joined more than a dozen other countries around the world in setting a record for "the most number of DC Super Heroes" gathered together.

That being said, we are pleased to share this OFFICIAL CERTIFICATE from the Guinness World Records... Which acknowledges The Philippines' participation in the "DC Comics Super Hero World Record" event! With the count reaching 198 and shared by our friends from Pacific Licensing who organized the event last April, we are honored to have joined the rest of the venues around the world in reaching this number as the only SouthEast Asian country that participated!

On behalf of Justice PH, thank you to all of our friends who joined and celebrated this event! We look forward to more adventures and hopefully a new gathering like this in the future! Stay true to being a hero always! JUSTICE FOR ALL!
